Central Connecticut State University's Honors Program Application Entrance for Fall 2025
To receive full consideration for admission, prospective students must complete both the regular undergraduate admissions process to Central and this supplementary Honors Program application. The Priority Admission deadline is November 15, 2024. The Regular Admission deadline is December 15, 2024. The standards for admission do not differ between the Priority and Regular Admission deadlines. Transfer students and current Central students who will have completed 60 credits or fewer upon entering the Honors Program in Fall 2025, and who have a cumulative collegiate GPA of 3.5 or higher, are invited to apply. If you have more than 60 credits, please contact the Program Director to discuss your individual situation before applying. Please consult the Honors Program website for curriculum requirements for transfer and current Central students.PRIORITY ADMISSION Applications received by November 15, 2024 will be considered for Priority Admission, and are guaranteed to receive an admission decision to the Honors Program no later than December 15, 2024.REGULAR ADMISSION Applications received by December 15, 2024 will be considered for Regular Admission, and are guaranteed to receive an admission decision to the Honors Program no later than January 31st, 2025.
Applications received after December 15, 2024 will be considered on a rolling basis until the Program’s entering class is filled.SCHOLARSHIP AND GPA REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates will receive admission to the Program and a $4500 scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, renewable for additional years based on maintaining a 3.30 Central cumulative GPA, as well as in Honors Program courses.
